Qudesan

Qudesan is an oral formulation of coenzyme Q10 (ubidecarenone) developed originally by the Russian company Akvion and later acquired and commercialized in Russia and CIS markets by Recordati as a cardio‑metabolic support product.[6][10][14] It is positioned as an adjuvant for cardiac function and for the prevention and treatment of chronic fatigue and metabolic dysfunction, reflecting the underlying biology of coenzyme Q10 as a key component of the mitochondrial electron transport chain and a lipid‑soluble antioxidant that supports ATP production and reduces oxidative stress in cardiovascular and metabolic tissues.[1][5] Clinically, coenzyme Q10 has been studied as adjunctive therapy in conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension and other cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, where supplementation can improve mitochondrial bioenergetics, endothelial function and inflammatory and oxidative biomarkers, although Qudesan itself is marketed primarily as a supportive cardio‑metabolic medicine or supplement rather than as a disease‑modifying prescription drug.[1][5][12]
