**Quercetin-Fe nanodots** are ultrasmall iron-coordinated quercetin nanodrugs developed as an experimental anticancer formulation. In a published in-vitro cervical-cancer study, Que-Fe NDs reduced proliferating cell nuclear antigen expression and suppressed proliferation of HeLa cervical cancer cells. The proposed therapeutic mechanism is inhibition or downregulation of PCNA, a DNA-replication and cell-proliferation factor. The formulation was reported to have improved aqueous solubility and stability relative to free quercetin; it remains an academic, preclinical research-stage candidate without an identified commercial developer, clinical route, dose, or marketed product.
