Overview

Quercus robur allergen extract is a biological allergen extract derived from the pollen of Quercus robur (English oak), developed by Inmunotek. It is formulated as a solution for skin prick testing to diagnose IgE-mediated type I hypersensitivity reactions to English oak pollen. The extract is being evaluated in clinical trials to determine its in vivo allergenic potency in histamine equivalent prick (HEP) units, establishing it as a standardized in-house reference preparation (IHRP) for the diagnosis of pollen allergy, allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and allergic asthma.
