Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qufeng Bushen Huoluo recipe is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of IgA nephropathy, specifically targeting hematuria. The recipe is based on the TCM therapeutic principles of dispelling wind (Qufeng), tonifying the kidney (Bushen), and activating collaterals (Huoluo) to improve blood circulation and renal health. It is currently being investigated in clinical trials as a combination therapy with losartan to evaluate its efficacy in improving renal function, reducing proteinuria and hematuria, and modulating IgA and complement levels in patients with biopsy-proven primary IgA nephropathy.
