Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**QuinFol** is a marketed oral fixed-dose nutritional supplement from Zealina Life Sciences. Each tablet contains levomefolate glucosamine, methylcobalamin, pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, and cholecalciferol. It is intended to supplement folate, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and vitamin D intake and is marketed for nutritional deficiencies and support of red-blood-cell formation, nerve function, cellular metabolism, and bone health. Levomefolate provides the bioactive folate form used in one-carbon metabolism; methylcobalamin and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate support vitamin-dependent enzymatic reactions; and cholecalciferol is converted to active vitamin D metabolites that activate the vitamin D receptor.
