Overview

Quyou is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) prescription currently undergoing clinical investigation for the treatment of persistent high-risk Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. As a TCM formulation, it is believed to exert its therapeutic effects through a combination of mechanisms, including enhancing the body's natural resistance against viral infections, exhibiting cytotoxic properties that lead to the necrosis and shedding of wart tissues, and potentially possessing direct antiviral activity against HPV. It is being studied in a clinical trial by Fujian Provincial Maternity and Children’s Hospital.
