Overview
Quyu Jiedu Granule is a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine formulated for the purpose of "removing blood stasis and expelling superficial evils" according to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory. It has been studied primarily in the context of endometriosis and infertility, where it appears to improve the microenvironment of ova by reducing inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin 6 (IL-6), potentially improving oocyte quality in patients with endometriosis undergoing IVF-ET[1][2]. The formula is also referenced as a maintenance therapy for metastatic colorectal cancer in clinical trial settings[7]. Its mechanism is believed to involve immunomodulation and anti-inflammatory effects through downregulation of pro-inflammatory cytokines.
