Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Quyu Shengxin is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal prescription developed by the Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for the treatment of ulcerative colitis. Based on the TCM principle of 'removing stasis and generating new tissue,' the formula is designed to promote mucosal healing and regulate the intestinal immune environment. Research into its mechanism of action focuses on its ability to modulate the immune microenvironment via the regulation of serum exosome-derived microRNAs (miRNAs). It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to optimize its implementation and provide a basis for new drug development.
