Quyu Shengxin Fang

Quyu Shengxin Fang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal compound investigated for its therapeutic potential in various conditions. It is commonly used to address "blood stasis syndrome," a concept in TCM often linked to cardiovascular diseases. Research indicates that specific formulations, such as Quyu Shengxin capsule (QSC), can inhibit Angiotensin II (Ang-II)-induced abnormal proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) by down-regulating pathways involving TGF-β, VEGF, mTOR, and JAK-STAT, and by reducing inflammatory mediators and cytokines. Another formulation, Quyu Shengxin decoction (QYSXD), has shown efficacy in alleviating DSS-induced ulcerative colitis in mice by suppressing the RIP1/RIP3/NLRP3 signaling pathway and reversing mitochondrial dysfunction to control inflammation. Furthermore, Quyu Shengxin Capsule has been studied for its ability to improve hemorheology and clinical scores in patients with early femoral head necrosis (ONFH), suggesting an action of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, which improves blood flow and microcirculation.
