Overview

QX-001352 is a potent, selective, small-molecule inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase (PARG) developed by QuantX Biosciences. PARG is a critical enzyme in DNA repair that catalyzes the removal of poly(ADP-ribose) (PAR) chains from target proteins, such as PARP1, to resolve DNA strand breaks. By inhibiting PARG, QX-001352 prevents the resolution of DNA lesions, leading to PAR chain accumulation, genomic instability, and tumor cell death. In preclinical studies, QX-001352 demonstrated robust anti-tumor efficacy and growth inhibition in ovarian, breast, and gastric cancer cell lines, as well as significant tumor regression in ovarian cancer xenograft models.
