Overview

QX002N is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets interleukin 17A (IL-17A), a pro-inflammatory cytokine implicated in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases. By binding to IL-17A, QX002N prevents its interaction with the IL-17 receptor (IL-17RA), thereby inhibiting downstream inflammatory signaling. This mechanism positions QX002N as an immunomodulatory therapy for conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis and potentially other autoimmune disorders. Developed by Qyuns Therapeutics, it has demonstrated promising efficacy and safety in clinical trials for ankylosing spondylitis, with additional development efforts in lupus nephritis and psoriatic arthritis[1][2][3][4][8].
