QX004N is a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively targets the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23), a cytokine central to the pathogenesis of several immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. By inhibiting IL-23, QX004N disrupts downstream inflammatory signaling implicated in conditions such as moderate to severe plaque psoriasis and Crohn’s disease. Clinical trials have demonstrated that QX004N exhibits linear pharmacokinetics, is well tolerated with mostly mild to moderate adverse events, and achieves high rates of skin clearance in psoriasis patients—100% achieving PASI 75 at week 12 and PASI 90 at week 16 in phase 1b studies. The drug was developed by Qyuns Therapeutics and licensed for development and commercialization in China by Hansoh Pharma[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].
