Overview

QX005N is a recombinant humanized rabbit monoclonal antibody that targets the interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα). It acts as an antagonist to IL-4Rα, thereby inhibiting the signaling pathways of interleukin-4 and interleukin-13. This mechanism reduces inflammation and immune responses associated with allergic and autoimmune diseases. Developed by Qyuns Therapeutics Co., Ltd., it is primarily indicated for prurigo nodularis (PN), atopic dermatitis (AD), chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps, and other inflammatory skin disorders. The drug is administered via subcutaneous injection. It has shown significant efficacy in Phase II clinical trials for prurigo nodularis with good safety and tolerability profiles. QX005N has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from China's National Medical Products Administration based on positive Phase II data in PN.
