QX006N is a novel, humanized IgG4κ monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the interferon alpha/beta receptor 1 (IFNAR1). It acts as an antagonist by binding to the SD3 subdomain of IFNAR1 and blocking its association with interferons, thereby inhibiting downstream signal transduction. This mechanism disrupts type I interferon signaling implicated in autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). QX006N has demonstrated high neutralization activity against IFNAR1-mediated pathways and is being developed primarily for SLE. Early clinical studies have shown favorable safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profiles in healthy volunteers[1][2][3][4][5].
