Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QX029N is an innovative humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα), developed by Qyuns Therapeutics (Jiangsu Qyuns Therapeutics). Classified as a Class 1 new drug in China, it is designed for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and other Type 2 inflammatory diseases. By binding to the IL-4Rα subunit, QX029N inhibits the signaling pathways of both interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are central mediators of allergic inflammation. QX029N is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, where it is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics, including a head-to-head comparison with Qyuns' earlier IL-4Rα candidate, QX005N, to potentially offer improved dosing or efficacy profiles.
