Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QX031N is an investigational long-acting bispecific antibody developed by Qyuns Therapeutics that targets both human thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) and human interleukin-33 (IL-33). These proteins, known as alarmins, are released by the airway epithelium in response to environmental triggers such as allergens, viruses, and pollution, driving upstream inflammation in respiratory diseases. By simultaneously blocking both TSLP and IL-33, QX031N aims to provide a more comprehensive anti-inflammatory effect compared to single-target therapies, potentially serving as a "best-in-disease" treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. In late 2024, Roche entered into a global licensing agreement with Qyuns Therapeutics for the development and commercialization of QX031N, paying $75 million upfront with nearly $1 billion in potential milestones.
