QY101

QY101 is a non-hormonal, non-steroidal topical ointment developed by E-nitiate Biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis and plaque psoriasis. It acts as a type 4 cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE4) inhibitor, targeting over-activation of PDE4 that is associated with these conditions. By inhibiting PDE4, QY101 reduces inflammation in the skin. The drug has demonstrated good local absorption and rapid systemic degradation in preclinical studies, suggesting favorable safety and efficacy profiles. As of late 2023, it has completed Phase I trials for psoriasis and entered Phase II trials for plaque psoriasis in China[1][3][5][7].
