Overview

R-3750 is an investigational oral immunotherapy from Rise Therapeutics being developed primarily for inflammatory bowel disease, especially ulcerative colitis, with additional earlier-stage work in Crohn's disease and a separate clinical study in mild to moderate COPD. Public materials describe it as a synthetic biology-based, orally administered probiotic or live microbial medicine designed to selectively engage dendritic cells and promote regulatory T cell induction, thereby reducing gut inflammation and improving intestinal barrier integrity. The program has completed Phase 1 dose-escalation work in ulcerative colitis, and company and grant disclosures indicate manufacturing scale-up activities intended to support Phase 2 development.
