Drug intelligence / Profile preview
R800 CAR-T is a chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy developed by GO-therapeutics. It utilizes the antigen-binding domain of R800, a humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets truncated O-glycans in the context of a peptide backbone. These glycopeptide epitopes are highly cancer-specific and are found across multiple epithelial cancers, including triple-negative breast, lung, pancreatic, colorectal, and ovarian cancers, while being absent in healthy tissues. In preclinical studies, R800 CAR-T cells demonstrated potent and selective cytotoxicity against target-expressing cancer cells in both in vitro and in vivo cell-line derived xenograft (CDX) models.
