Drug intelligence / Profile preview
R8H3 is an experimental humanized monoclonal antibody designed to target the **B7-H3** (CD276) protein, an immune checkpoint molecule that is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors and associated with poor prognosis. By binding to B7-H3, R8H3 aims to inhibit the immunosuppressive signals mediated by this protein within the tumor microenvironment, thereby enhancing the anti-tumor activity of T cells and other immune effectors. The antibody was developed using advanced protein engineering to optimize its binding affinity and reduce potential immunogenicity. It is primarily being investigated for its potential to treat refractory or metastatic solid malignancies where B7-H3 expression is high.
