Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RA-CX3CR1 (also known as TP501) is a rabbit polyclonal neutralizing antibody directed against the C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1). Developed by Torrey Pines Biolabs, it is primarily used as a research-use-only reagent to study the role of the fractalkine (CX3CL1)/CX3CR1 signaling pathway in various physiological and pathological processes, such as neuropathic pain, diabetic neuropathy, and inflammatory responses. In animal models, intrathecal or systemic administration of RA-CX3CR1 has been shown to attenuate mechanical allodynia and microglia activation, highlighting its utility in preclinical pain and inflammation research.
