RA02AB is a polymeric glycoconjugate being developed by Remab Therapeutics for the selective intracorporeal removal of anti-A and anti-B blood group antibodies. The drug is designed to prevent ABO blood transfusion reactions and hyperacute rejection in vascularized organ transplantation by neutralizing specific blood group antibodies that cause complement fixation and intravascular hemolysis. RA02AB utilizes carbohydrate derivatives of blood group A and B antigens (RA02A and RA02B) as part of its platform technology for selective antibody removal. It is currently in preclinical development.
