Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The rabies mRNA vaccine is an investigational mRNA-based prophylactic vaccine being developed by AIM Vaccine Co., Ltd. to induce protective immune responses against the rabies virus. As part of AIM's broader mRNA technology platform, this candidate is designed to instruct host cells to express rabies virus antigens, thereby stimulating the production of neutralizing antibodies and activating cellular immunity. This approach represents a next-generation alternative to traditional inactivated rabies vaccines, such as those derived from Vero cells or human diploid cells. The vaccine is currently in the preclinical research stage and is a key component of AIM's comprehensive rabies vaccine portfolio.
