**RadiaPlexRx** is a prescription topical hydrogel wound dressing manufactured by MPM Medical for prevention and management of radiation-associated skin reactions, including radiation dermatitis. It is a non-petroleum, water-based gel containing sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera, and moisturizing ingredients that hydrates and protects irradiated or damaged skin. It has also been used for pressure ulcers, superficial burns, cuts, abrasions, and radiation recall dermatitis. A completed breast-cancer radiotherapy study compared RadiaPlexRx with Aquaphor for prevention of grade 2 or greater radiation dermatitis.
