**Radspherin** is an investigational, receptor-independent intraperitoneal alpha-radiopharmaceutical developed by Oncoinvent for eradication of residual microscopic peritoneal cancer after complete cytoreductive surgery. It consists of biodegradable calcium carbonate microparticles carrying the alpha-emitting radionuclide radium-224. After intraperitoneal instillation, the particles distribute across serosal peritoneal surfaces and deliver highly localized, short-range alpha radiation intended to destroy free-floating tumor cells and micrometastases while limiting irradiation of deeper normal tissues. Radspherin has completed early clinical studies in colorectal peritoneal metastases and recurrent ovarian cancer, and is being evaluated in a randomized Phase 2 study in homologous-recombination-proficient ovarian cancer with peritoneal metastases.
