This is a **triple combination therapy** consisting of raltegravir, nevirapine, and lamivudine, all of which are antiretroviral drugs used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection. - **Raltegravir** is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) that prevents integration of HIV DNA into the host genome, thereby blocking HIV replication. - **Nevirapine** is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) that inhibits HIV-1 reverse transcriptase by binding directly to the enzyme, causing a conformational change and blocking the conversion of viral RNA into DNA. - **Lamivudine** is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that acts as a chain terminator after being incorporated by HIV-1 reverse transcriptase, inhibiting DNA synthesis. This combination is not currently available as a commercially approved, single fixed-dose formulation. Each component is administered as part of combination antiretroviral therapy and the regimen is considered in clinical practice when initiating or optimizing HIV-1 treatment.
