Overview

Rasdegafusp alfa (CDX-1401) is a DEC-205/NY-ESO-1 fusion protein vaccine. It consists of a monoclonal antibody directed against the dendritic cell receptor DEC-205 linked to the tumor-associated antigen NY-ESO-1. This design aims to deliver NY-ESO-1 to dendritic cells, thereby boosting the immune system to attack cancer cells expressing NY-ESO-1. It was developed by Celldex Therapeutics Inc, National Cancer Institute (USA), Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research for the treatment of solid tumors and various hematological malignancies.
