Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RasGRP4-targeted antisense oligonucleotide is an antisense oligonucleotide designed to inhibit the expression of Ras guanyl-releasing protein 4 (RasGRP4). RasGRP4 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor primarily expressed in myeloid cells, including monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, and mast cells. By downregulating RasGRP4, this therapeutic agent aims to suppress the recruitment and activation of inflammatory monocytes and macrophages, thereby reducing tissue inflammation and muscle injury. It is being developed for the treatment of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, such as polymyositis and dermatomyositis, as well as rheumatoid arthritis.
