Rasoline

Rasoline is a coded Unani medicinal formulation developed by Hamdard University for the management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). As a Unani medicine, it is part of a traditional system of Greco-Arabic medicine and typically consists of a proprietary polyherbal or multi-ingredient natural formulation. Rasoline is primarily investigated for its efficacy in addressing menstrual irregularities and hormonal anomalies associated with PCOS. In clinical research, it has been evaluated in Phase 1 trials, often alongside another coded formulation called Picolin, and compared against standard pharmaceutical treatments like metformin to assess its potential as a natural alternative for improving ovulatory cycles and managing PCOS symptoms.
