Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RB515 is an oligonucleotide aptamer-based active control agent that is part of Regado Biosciences’ REG3 antithrombotic/antiplatelet program, which consists of a specific glycoprotein VI (GPVI) inhibitor aptamer (RB571) paired with its complementary control agent (RB515) to allow titratable, reversible modulation of GPVI-mediated platelet activation. Developed as a matched oligonucleotide designed to bind and neutralize the GPVI inhibitor aptamer, RB515 enables rapid and precise reversal of antiplatelet activity to improve the safety profile of REG3 in settings where on-demand control of platelet inhibition is required.
