Overview

**RBBM-S1** is an investigational locally implanted osteogenic regenerative product being developed by **ORTHOREBIRTH** for lumbar interbody fusion in degenerative lumbar disease. It comprises AMP2, a material-binding recombinant variant of human bone morphogenetic protein 2, immobilized on the absorbable synthetic bone-regeneration scaffold ReBOSSIS-J. Local scaffold binding is intended to retain BMP-2 activity at the surgical fusion site, promote osteogenic signaling and new bone formation, and support spinal arthrodesis while limiting off-target exposure. A Japanese Phase I/II trial compares RBBM-S1 with autologous bone grafting in patients undergoing lumbar interbody fusion.
