Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBD2080 is a GalNAc-conjugated small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Suzhou Ribo Life Science. It is designed using the company's proprietary RIBO-GalSTAR liver-targeting technology platform to specifically target and inhibit the expression of complement component 3 (C3) in hepatocytes. By silencing C3 mRNA, RBD2080 reduces the levels of C3 protein at its source and in circulation, thereby preventing the overactivation of the complement system. It is being developed for the treatment of complement-mediated diseases, including renal and autoimmune diseases.
