Overview

RBI-RESP is a multivalent self-replicating RNA (srRNA) vaccine candidate being developed by Replicate Bioscience for the prevention of infections caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), human metapneumovirus (hMPV), and parainfluenza virus (PIV). Utilizing Replicate's proprietary srRNA platform, the vaccine encodes multiple antigens from these three respiratory pathogens. The srRNA technology includes virally-derived genetic components that enable controlled self-amplification of the RNA within host cells, leading to sustained and high-level protein expression. This approach is designed to elicit robust and durable immune responses at significantly lower doses than conventional mRNA vaccines, potentially offering a more effective and scalable solution for complex respiratory viral threats.
