RBI-X000

RBI-X000 is a self-replicating RNA (srRNA) therapeutic currently in the discovery stage of development by Replicate Bioscience for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. The drug utilizes Replicate's proprietary srRNA technology platform, which is designed to enable a patient's own cells to naturally produce therapeutic proteins. Unlike conventional mRNA, srRNA molecules are engineered to self-replicate within the cell, which may lead to higher and more durable protein expression while requiring significantly lower doses. While Replicate Bioscience has established a partnership with Novo Nordisk to develop srRNA-based therapies for cardiometabolic diseases, the specific biological target and mechanism of action for RBI-X000 have not yet been publicly disclosed.
