Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBLP is a sustained-release formulation of latanoprost being developed by ReBio Technologies for the treatment of mild-to-moderate primary open-angle glaucoma. It utilizes the proprietary SiSu® technology platform, a resorbable polymer system designed for long-term, steady release of therapeutics within the eye. Administered via intravitreal injection approximately twice a year, RBLP aims to improve patient compliance and maintain consistent intraocular pressure reduction compared to traditional daily eye drops. The polymer scaffold is designed to safely dissolve once the drug release is complete, addressing the challenges of frequent dosing in chronic ocular conditions.
