Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBM-009 is an aptamer-based therapeutic candidate developed by Ribomic for the treatment of severe asthma. It is designed to target ST2 (also known as Interleukin-1 receptor-like 1), which is the receptor for the cytokine IL-33. By binding to ST2, RBM-009 aims to block or modulate the IL-33/ST2 signaling pathway, a key driver of Type 2 (T2) inflammation and airway hyperresponsiveness in asthma. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development and utilizes Ribomic's proprietary RiboART platform for aptamer discovery.
