Overview

RBM-010 is an RNA aptamer developed by Ribomic Inc. for the treatment of osteoarthritis. It is designed to specifically bind to and inhibit ADAMTS5 (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 5), a protease that plays a critical role in the degradation of aggrecan within articular cartilage. By inhibiting this enzyme, RBM-010 aims to preserve cartilage integrity and slow the progression of osteoarthritis. The drug is currently in preclinical development and is intended for parenteral administration.
