Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBN-2397 + pembrolizumab is a combination therapy being investigated for the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the lung (SCCL). RBN-2397 is a novel first-in-class oral PARP7 inhibitor designed to activate the Type I interferon response in tumor cells, which increases immune cell infiltration into tumors. Pembrolizumab is an anti-PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor therapy. The combination is expected to drive activated T cells into tumors with the potential to overcome resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors. This combination therapy is particularly being studied in patients who previously responded to PD-1/PD-L1 therapy but later developed disease progression.
