Overview

RBO-3XX is a senolytic prodrug developed by Rubedo Life Sciences, Inc. It is designed to selectively target and eliminate aging-associated senescent cells, which contribute to various age-related diseases by secreting pro-inflammatory cytokines. Preclinical studies in geriatric mice demonstrated that RBO-3XX was well-tolerated and effectively reduced the burden of senescence in multiple tissues, leading to improvements in frailty index, muscle tissue and stem cell functions, cognitive functions, and overall survival. Rubedo Life Sciences utilizes its AI-powered Alembic platform to characterize senescent cellular subgroups and identify therapeutic vulnerabilities.
