Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBP-01 is an investigational small molecule protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor developed by ReBio Technologies for the treatment of uveal melanoma. The drug utilizes the proprietary SiSu® platform, which creates targeted, locally delivered conjugates designed for precise, programmable drug exposure and superior ocular retention. Administered via intravitreal injection, RBP-01 aims to achieve high therapeutic concentrations at the site of the malignancy while minimizing systemic off-target exposure. It is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical development as a potential sight-preserving therapy for patients with uveal melanoma, the most common primary intraocular cancer in adults.
