Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBS-002 is a monoclonal antibody biosimilar of dupilumab (Dupixent) being developed by RophiBio, a Korean biologics manufacturer and affiliate of Amicogen. The drug targets the interleukin-4 receptor alpha (IL-4Rα) subunit, which is a shared component of the IL-4 and IL-13 receptor complexes. By binding to IL-4Rα, RBS-002 inhibits the signaling of both IL-4 and IL-13, which are key cytokines driving type 2 (Th2) mediated inflammation. RBS-002 is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of various inflammatory diseases, including atopic dermatitis, asthma, and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis.
