Overview

RBS-00X is a bispecific antibody biosimilar of faricimab (Vabysmo) being developed by RophiBio for the treatment of ophthalmic diseases, such as neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. It is designed to simultaneously target and inhibit vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2), thereby stabilizing retinal blood vessels, reducing vascular leakage, and inhibiting pathological angiogenesis. The candidate is currently in early-stage development, with plans for a tailored Phase 3 clinical trial.
