Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBT-102 is a multi-specific engineered molecule developed by Radiant Biotherapeutics using its proprietary Multabody™ platform. It is designed to target Death Receptor 5 (DR5), also known as Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10B. By engaging and clustering DR5 on the surface of tumor cells, RBT-102 triggers the extrinsic apoptotic pathway, leading to programmed cell death. The Multabody™ platform allows for the creation of molecules with high valency and avidity, which is intended to overcome the limited efficacy and potency issues observed with earlier generations of DR5-targeted monoclonal antibodies. RBT-102 is currently in the preclinical stage, with in vivo proof-of-concept demonstrated for indications including colorectal cancer, chondrosarcoma, and Ewing's sarcoma.
