Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBT-402 is a recombinant protein subunit vaccine being developed by Artgen Biotech for the prevention of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection. The vaccine utilizes the Betusphere platform, which incorporates surface recombinant proteins onto spherical adjuvant particles. These particles are virus-like particles (VLPs) created using a patented technology based on betulin, an organic substance derived from birch bark. This adjuvant system is designed to enhance the immune response to the recombinant HPV antigens. RBT-402 is currently in preclinical development.
