Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RBX001 is an intranasal, non‑antibiotic microbiome‑based therapeutic being developed by Resilient Biotics as a preventive treatment for bovine respiratory disease (BRD) in cattle. It is formulated from selected live bacterial strains designed to beneficially modulate the upper respiratory tract microbiome, thereby reducing colonization and infection by bacterial and viral pathogens associated with BRD and decreasing lung lesions and disease severity in preclinical models. As a livestock health product, it is intended to offer an alternative to prophylactic antibiotics, supporting herd health and productivity while addressing antimicrobial resistance concerns.
