Overview

RC010 is an inhaled small-molecule inhibitor of Rho-associated protein kinase (ROCK) being developed by Nanjing Reju Therapeutics for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Formulated as a dry powder for inhalation, the drug is designed to be delivered directly to the lungs, which aims to achieve high local concentrations at the site of fibrotic activity while minimizing systemic exposure and potential off-target effects. The inhibition of ROCK signaling pathways is intended to reduce myofibroblast activation and extracellular matrix deposition, thereby slowing or reversing the progression of pulmonary fibrosis. RC010 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, with studies focused on evaluating its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy volunteers.
