RC1012 is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf cellular immunotherapy consisting of double negative T cells (DNTs), which are mature T lymphocytes characterized by the CD3+ CD4- CD8- phenotype. Developed by Guangdong Ruishun Biotech, RC1012 is derived from the peripheral blood of healthy donors and does not require MHC matching, allowing for immediate administration to patients without the need for individualized manufacturing. The therapy exerts potent cytotoxicity against acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts and has been shown to stimulate the proliferation of endogenous DNT, CD4+, and CD8+ T cells in the recipient, potentially enhancing anti-tumor activity. RC1012 is currently in clinical development for the prevention of relapse in AML patients following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) and for the treatment of relapsed or refractory AML.
