Overview

RC108 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by RemeGen for the treatment of various solid tumors. It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting c-Met (hepatocyte growth factor receptor), conjugated to the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), an auristatin derivative that inhibits tubulin polymerization. The mechanism of action involves selective binding to c-Met-expressing tumor cells, internalization, and subsequent release of MMAE inside the cell, leading to microtubule disruption and cell death. RC108 is being investigated primarily in advanced digestive system malignancies such as gastric, colorectal, esophageal, hepatic, pancreatic, and bile duct cancers as well as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with MET positivity[1][2][4][5].
