Overview

RC148 is a bispecific antibody developed by RemeGen that targets both programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Its mechanism of action involves modulating immune checkpoint pathways via PD-1 inhibition and inhibiting angiogenesis through VEGF blockade. This dual-targeting approach is designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses while simultaneously suppressing tumor blood vessel formation. RC148 is being investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors, including breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. The drug has reached Phase II clinical trials for breast cancer and Phase I trials for non-small cell lung cancer[2][3][4][5]. It represents a novel immunotherapeutic strategy in oncology.
