Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RC148 + ABBV-706 is an investigational combination therapy being developed by AbbVie for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly lung cancers. RC148 (also known as ABBV-1480) is a bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), originally developed by RemeGen and licensed to AbbVie. ABBV-706 is a first-in-class antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting seizure-related homolog protein 6 (SEZ6) conjugated to a topoisomerase 1 inhibitor (Top1i) payload. This combination leverages the dual immune checkpoint and angiogenic blockade of RC148 alongside the targeted cytotoxic activity of ABBV-706 to enhance antitumor efficacy and overcome resistance in advanced malignancies such as small cell lung cancer (SCLC).
